death date [17 April 2016]

I removed the death date 17 Feb 1698. In the edit summary I mentioned I thought it was an error for the marriage date, said by Torrey to be by 1698, but that was incorrect. I noticed in Source:Cutter, William Richard. New England Families, Genealogical and Memorial, vol. 4, p. 1659 that it says Edmund Chandler "married in 1690, Elizabeth, daughter of Captain Jonathan Alden, who was born in 1627, died February 17, 1698...". Clearly the birth and death date both belong to Jonathan Alden, not Elizabeth. Incidentally the children listed by Cutter (and his estimated marriage date is probably several years off due to this) belong to Benjamin Chandler and Elizabeth Buck, Cutter copying the work of others who wrongly attributed the 1732 will of widow Elizabeth Chandler to this Elizabeth, when it was actually the will of Benjamin's wife. --Jrich 16:10, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
