[add comment] [edit] Eli Braconie [30 July 2014]Eli Braconie rec. in 1641 and 1644 is same person as "Aeltie" Braconie, it is simply a wrong recording, which happened a lot in the 17th century. There is no documentation about any "Eli" Braconies not born 1563 not died in 1590 in New Amsterdam (there was no New Amsterdam in 1590 the land was not even discovered. Please do not use web information that shows no sources, it just confuses everything. Aeltje Braconie also has no origin birth or marriage date, she is recorded in New Netherland documents as Aeltie Brackhoengie 30 Dec. 1643 (Dutch manuscripts council minutes 1638-1645 p. 23) Aeltje Brackenhoengoe widow 5 Jun. 1644 sons in law Gerrit Wolphert and Claes Jansen(dame p. 88) Aeltie Brackognie 21 Jul. 1647 to pay money from estate of deceased husband Cornelis Lamberts Cool (Register of provincial secretary v. 2) Altien Brackhenge wife of William Bredenbent their will in 22 Jun. 1670 naming "only daughter of the wife Mary Thomas Baddie" (Henry Macy, Jr. Flatbush town records, liber C, p. 81) Greetings, Barbara [email protected]Amigator 15:57, 30 July 2014 (UTC) |
