She was probably the Eleanor Harley christened 17 August 1712 2nd Church of Boston, daughter of Robert Harley and Eleanor Kerr or Carr. The name, date, and geography are consistent with her 1738 marriage in Martha's Vineyard. ("Elenor Harley and Malatiah Luce, married 5 July 1738." Tisbury Vital Records). This is also the only known record of an Eleanor Harley or Harlow born in New England in the right time period.--Jswanstrom 23:09, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
