Zeeland, MI — Edna Compagner, 93, of Zeeland passd away on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Hospice House of Holland.

Edna was born to Egbert and Maggie Brouwer on April 27, 1916 in Drenthe, Michigan. She married Henry Compagner and was a lifelong member of Drenthe Christian Reformed Church. Henry preceded her in death in 1982.

Edna is survived by her children: Jarvis and Hazel Compagner, Marilyn and Scott Brower, Vern Compagner, her in-laws: Pauline and Glenn Stroven, Almon and Luella Dekker, Arlene Yonker, Ivan and Bev Compagner, Una and Karl Nykampand several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at the Drenthe Christian Reformed Church, 6344 Adams Street, Zeeland. Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Monday at the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland. Burial will be in West Drenthe Cemetery.
