South Yorkshire [9 December 2016]

South Yorkshire did not exist until 1974. Before that date these places were in the West Riding of Yorkshire.

If you only have details from Free BMD, then the location must be a "Registration District" which would cover a very wide area. Barnsley Registration District would have included Wombwell. --Goldenoldie 16:03, 9 December 2016 (UTC)
