I’m sorry that I can be of only a little help. My Family is Kircher. He married into the family of my ancestor’s (Charles Kirchert/Kircher) brother, Jacob Kirchert/Kircher

The only other reference that I have to this name is in obituaries of this family. These list nothing except her name and location. “JACOB FRED KIRCHER Jacob Fred Kircher, II, 68, Harrisonville, died Sunday, March 14, in St Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City. He was born on May 27, 1902 in Harrisonville, the son of J. F. and Henrietta Kircher. He was a farmer and a life-long resident of Cass County, having spent his entire life within five miles of his birthplace. At an early age, he became a member of the Daugherty United Methodist Church. He was married to Otella Veta Gregg on June 26, 1927 by Rev. George C. Monroe at his residence in Harrisonville. He was active in community affairs, having spent many years as a member of the Camp Branch Township board, and the Lone Elm school board. Survivors include; his wife, Veta, of the home; two sons, J. Fred Kircher, Scottsbluff, Nebr, and Russell Gregg Kircher of Harrisonville; three granddaughters; Melissa Ann, Laura Beth and Dana Diann Kircher and one grandson, Gary Brian Kircher, three brothers; Ray Kircher, Harrisonville, Leonard Kircher, Garden City; and Robert Kircher, Cleveland, six sisters, Miss Zora Kircher, Mrs. Dorothy Wildeboor, and Mrs. Pauline Easter of Savannah; Mrs. Mildred Main, Rapid City, S.D.; Mrs. Leah Harter and Mrs. Henrietta Harter of Harrisonville, many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16 at the United Methodist Church in Harrisonville, with Rev. Jack Daniel of the Creighton Christian Church, officiating. Burial was at Orient cemetery with Runnenburger Funeral Service in Charge.” Obituary 3/26/1971


“E. Ray Kircher, Harrisonville, died Tuesday, August 8 at the Cass County Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct 9, 1897, near Harrisonville, the son of Jacob F. and Henrietta Plank Kircher. He was married to Edith S. Edmonds on Dec 3, 1922 and they were the parents of two children, a daughter; Frances and a son, E. R. Kircher, Jr. He spent most of his life as a farmer and stockman in the Harrisonville community on the Kircher family homestead. Surviving relatives include his wife, Edith, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Phillips, Prairie Village, Kans.; a son, E. R. Kircher, Jr. Harrisonville, five grandchildren, Kathy and Debbie Phillips, Vickie, Lisa and Vonda Kircher; two brothers, Leonard Kircher, Garden City, and Robert Kircher, Cleveland; six sisters, Miss Zora Kircher, Savannah, Mrs. Dorothy Wildeboor, Savannah; Mrs. Pauline Easter, Savannah; Mrs. Leah Harter, Harrisonville; Mrs. Henrietta Harter, Harrisonville; and Mrs. Mildred Main, Rapid City, S. D. Preceding him in death were an infant granddaughter, Dena Kaye Phillips, one sister Kathryn Kircher of Harrisonville, two brothers, Fred Kircher and Woodrow Kircher, both of Harrisonville. Funeral services were held Friday, Aug 11, at the Atkinson Dickery Chapel in Harrisonville with Rev Mrs. Marie Hyatt and Rev Stephen Johnson officiating. Mrs. Harter was born Dec. 15, 1903, near Harrisonville, a daughter of Jacob F. and Henrietta (Plank) Kircher. For many years she lived in the Daugherty community where she became a member of the Daugherty United Methodist church at an early age. She later transferred her membership to the United Methodist Church in Harrisonville. When her husband was in failing health, they moved to Harrisonville in January of 1967. Preceding her in death were her husband, Glenn, a sister, Katheryn, and three brothers, Woodrow, Fred, and Ray Kircher. Surviving are two brothers, Leonard Kircher of Garden City, and Robert Kircher of Cleveland; five sisters, Miss Zora Kircher, Mrs. Dorothy Wildeboor and Mrs. Pauline Easter, all of Savannah, MO., Mrs. Mildred Main of Rapid City, S.D., and Mrs. E. G. (Leah) Harter of Harrisonville; five nieces and eight nephews. Services were held Jan 4 at the Atkinson-Dickey Chapel with the Rev. Paul E. Rundel officiating. Pallbearers were Charles Bell, Ernest Dunkin, Gordon Jeter, Myrl Millsap, T. B. Prettyman and Lawrence Kircher. Burial was in Orient Cemetery.” Obituary.
