Evidence for his ancestry [15 January 2025]

Is there any evidence for the ancestry of David Trimble? Online trees seem to lean to Robert and Hannah, but I haven't noticed any sources supporting this, or that his father was John, either. Find A Grave says (with no evidence) that his father was John Robert Trimble - almost certainly a conflation of 2 different theories.

Is there even any evidence that he was one of "five brothers, James, Moses, David, John and Alexander Trimble", as stated in the Supplement to the Annals of Augusta County (p. 411), or do you think that is just a stereotypical assumption that all men with the same surname immigrating to the same place must be brothers?
