[add comment] [edit] Hale in Lancashire and Hale in Cheshire [19 November 2014]There are two towns of the same name. To confuse you further, in 1974 Hale, Cheshire became part of Greater Manchester which is basically in Lancashire and, at the same time, Hale in Childwall, Lancashire, became Hale within another town called Widnes which decided to move from Lancashire to Cheshire. Anyway, Hale that used to be in Cheshire is a fair bit east of Hale that used to be in Lancashire. --Goldenoldie 17:18, 19 November 2014 (UTC) |
