Page needs editing [22 August 2020]
I have edited most of the other pages for this family. I leave this one to you.
Hints:
- Our software recognises one, two or plenty of spaces as one space
- Our software does not recognize carriage returns. These must be replaced with the code
- Commas between expressions are very helpful; add "born" prior to the birthplace for clarity
- "----------" will only work if you start the next line with a
- The software has a facility for recording sources in specialised boxes with citations. These should be used. See the Help Pages for instructions.
- WR has a places database in which the county in which a place existed in 1900 is used. By 1900 the Isle of Wight was a separate county. Therfore, most of your place entries should be written
St. Helens, Isle of Wight, England|St. Helens, Hampshire, England. All English counties should always be written out in full. I only came upon your entries because the database did not recognise "I.O.W." and listed the all the entries as being linked to St. Helens in Lancashire.
