Benjamin is my 4 great grandfather(DNA) as well as DNA to his brother Joshua.. The information here is not correct. While L David Roper has some useful information, there are also errors which have copied to many Roper trees.

Benjamin's father is Meredith Roper 1730-1800, mother is unknown. While some of his siblings are speculative, but probably the single most plausible of the possibilities. These ascriptions are based on census and other documents. Benjamin's siblings are: Martha Roper Rev David Roper Charles Roper James Roper Joshua Roper

I highly recommend referring to the Roper board on Ancestry. Lots of references for documents, migration of Roper families and lines. Information is updated as new information comes to light and more documents are researched. ancestry.com/boards/surnames.roper
