death date [14 March 2022]

I removed the death date of 29 Oct 1946. Find A Grave was cited, but no memorial was given. Two were found. One in 1926 had been removed (ironically, because probably correct).

That leaves this one , presumably the source (only source) cited on this page. This memorial shows a death date of 8 Jun 1926.

So where does the deleted date come from? From here which as of today says: Name Alice F. So the date comes from an index of the Find A Grave, not from Find A Grave. Perhaps at one time the memorial page gave the 1946 but if so, it was a misreading of the gravestone since, although alittle hard to read, the gravestone clearly says June and clearly says 1926. I presume the death location of Brookline that was posted along with the 1946 date is also incorrect. The census records shown (not found in 1920) all show Beverly or Boston and her obit appears to be published in a Boston newspaper and the source for a Brookline death is not in evidence. --Jrich 15:37, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
