[add comment] [edit] Place of birth and place of baptism [24 May 2015]In 1618 children were usually baptised in their parish church. If Agnes was born in the City of London, there were plenty of other churches closer than St. Martin in the Fields. On any modern map (try Google Earth) you will see St. Martin in the Fields on the eastern side of Trafalgar Square. The western boundary of the City of London is Temple Bar (find it on the same map). If you have proof that she was baptised on the same day as her birth at St. Martin in the Fields, then she probably was not born in the City of London.--Goldenoldie 14:12, 24 May 2015 (UTC) |
