[add comment] [edit] Birthplace of Adam Dodds [20 April 2013]Hello I noticed that the primary birthplace for Adam Dodds was "Sillushax" in Roxburghshire which wasn't in the Gazetteer of Scotland, one of my favourite sources. Without inspecting the original I would think the real word is Lilliesleaf, your second choice. Lilliesleaf is close to the border with Selkirkshire and I notice the family had birthplaces in both counties. You might investigate [The FreeCen Project] to see what their transcription of the 1851 and 1861 censuses came up with. And, if you want to spend money, there is always Scottish People. --goldenoldie 02:47, 18 April 2013 (EDT)
