Identity of Abigail Tibbals' Father [11 June 2018]

Orcutt, pp. 725 and 769, indicates that this Abigail Tibbals (b. c. 1677) was daughter of John Tibbals (1645-1732). However, there is no evidence that John was married prior to marrying the widow Margaret (Tomlinson) Harger in 1698. John's brother Thomas (1651-1691) had a daughter Abigail born at Milford in 1677 who does not appear to have been assigned a husband anywhere in the literature. No other Abigail Tibbals appears who fits into the indicated time frame.--jaques1724 00:47, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
