Zopher Dunning born at Bangor, Maine, was an early settler, coming to California in 1848. Worked as miner until about 1870 when he managed a hotel in Marysville, then later bought a ranch nearby. Married Sarah Hawthorn. Six children.

Dunning; son of Paicines, San Bernadino County, age 29; Louis A. Dunning, son of Yuba County, age 27; Abbie P. Casey, daughter of Yuba County, age 25; and requests administration be granted to her.
