According to the Rhoton to Abshier information of March 2003, Zeptha was born mentally ill, and was also described as mentally deficient (retarded?). In his will, his father George Jr. placed him in the care of his half-brother, George Gaddy III, with the stipulation that if Zeptha ever 'recovered', he would be given his share of the inheritance.
