Zadock was known as "Jack". He was a son of Henry Adams, II & Elizabeth Harris of VA. Husband of Elizabeth Isabella Parish, b. VA. Father of Jeremiah Moody, Lucy, Thomas A., Benjamin Edwards, Jesse Stensil,& Nancy Matthews Adams, (& maybe more) Very shortly after their marriage, Zadock and his wife moved to South Carolina. Here their first child, Jeremiah Moody Adams was born in 1798. By 1816 they were in Mayfield, KY where daughter, Nancy was born. Zadock Adams initially homesteaded on a 100 acre farm in the Panther Creek region of Graves Co, KY. He most likely died at the age of abt. 80 in the winter of 1846-1847 since he does not appear in any census or tax records after that year. His gravesite was thought to be in the Adams family cemetery that was located on land that he transferred to his sons, but that is not known for sure.
