↑ According to NEHGR, "Genealogical Notices of the Descendants of Secretary Rawson", Vol. 3, p. 300, there was a child named Wilson born in 1675 who d. in his infancy. While no record can be found, the birth is said to be recorded in the "ancient Family Bible". Certainly the parents established a pattern of having a child every year, and the name Wilson is used in later generations.
