BEDFORD---Wilma H. Hatfield, 95, of Bedford, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Robin Run Village Healthcare Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Wilma was born on April 1, 1917, in Bedford, Indiana, to Molly and Bernie Chaney Ritchison. She married Joel Vaughn Hatfield on January 24, 1938. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years; two sisters, Hazel George and Virginia Pace; and four brothers, Bill Ritchison, Bob Ritchison, Dewey Ritchison and Donald Ritchison.
Wilma is survived by two daughters, Marita Edler (Robert), Carmel Indiana, and Peggy Wilgus (Tony Dessicino), Bedford, Indiana. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Ric Wymer (Shalane), Heidi Wymer, Joel Wymer (Vicki), Erica Pherson (Ken), Natalie Einterz (Nick); and four great-grandchildren, Jessica Lytis, Taylor Touvell, Alexis Wymer, Tony Xiong; and 1 great-great grandchild, Zaelen Jackson. Many dear nieces and nephews also survive her.
Wilma was a member of Dive Christian Church, Bedford, Indiana.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2012, at Cresthaven Funeral Home, Bedford, with calling preceding the service from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and burial at Cresthaven Memorial Gardens.
