(**** expand the "Memorial Park" on the burial in publication ****) Willis attended high school in Mason City, Iowa, then during World War II, was engaged in defense work at the Chicago Bridge and Iron Works in Seneca, Illinois. He moved to the Los Angeles area after the war, and worked for an outdoor advertising agency 1944-51. Between 1951 and 1969 he was with the data processing group of Whittaker Corporation, moving to Capitol Records at Hollywood, California in 1968. He retired from computer operations there in 1980, and in July 1980 moved to Warwick, Rhode Island where he lived until his death in 1990.
