Henry County Local---January 6, 1993
Mr. Clyde Bickers, age 94, of Eminence died Saturday, January 2, 1993 at the Green Valley Health Care Center, Carrollton. He was a native of Owen County, formerly of Campbellsburg, a retired farmer, a member of the Eminence United Methodist Church for 30 years and Campbellsburg Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Tingle Bickers, Eminence; one daughter-in-law, Omega Jervis, Eminence; one foster son, Ecra Jervis, Louisville; one grandson, Gary Jervis, Louisville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, at the Prewitt Funeral Home, New Castle. Officiating was Rev. Joan Stephenson, pastor of the Eminence United Methodist Church. Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery.
