    ... Isabella Jane Nickels, ninth child of Dr. John and Jane Simpson Nickels, was born Nov. 30th, 1829; married Nov. 2nd, 1857, Dr. Williams Wright, son of Geb. Thos. and Nancy Simpson Wright, they being first cousins, Isabella, "Cousin Bella" as we all called her, was one of the favorites of the family, and to go to Cousin Bella's was the highest pleasure of all the young relatives. She died Jan. 15th 1893.Dr. Williams Wright died Oct. 5th, 1897, Both were buried at the old Dr. Nickels homestead, upon which they resided all their married life. They left but one child:The family burying ground is across the road from the homestead in Lisbon Church Section, Laurens County, S.C.
