    Colonel William Thorne Williams, an old citizen of Savannah, Georgia, died last week. He was a son of Major James Williams, an officer of the Revolutionary Army, and was born in Philadelphia on the 17th day of June, 1785. He removed to Georgia in 1803, and established the first publishing house in the State in the year 1805.
