    William White Jr. was one of the "Cabarrus Black Boys" in the Gunpowder Plot of 1771.

    He was also a Revolutionary War veteran serving as a 1st Lieutenant.

    William White Jr. married Jane White in 1773 in Mecklenburg County NC.
