William Buford Wale(s) was born in 1803 on his parents newly acquired plantation which was called prince-of-Wales, Kentucky. The family relocated from Virginia to Breckinridge County Kentucky in 1803. William married Jane Crawford, the daughter of William and Melinda Hardin Crawford About 1826. William Wale died in 1855 and was buried beside his wife Jane Crawford Wale in the Crawford family cemetery at Tar fork in Breckenridge County, according to old family letters at the Filson club in downtown Louisville.
