WILLIAM HENRY or "W. H." started his long career at the H. C. Underwood Manufacturing Co. (founded in 1883) as a bookkeeper. The company was organized as the Wabash Cabinet Co. in 1900. It was reorganized in 1909, with Mr. Urschel as the Secretary and Treasurer. He rose to be President of the company, and sold it to General Electric.
