Will of William Stallworth

I, William Stallsworth, Senr., being at present of perfect mind and memory...
I give to my wife Jemima full benefit and profits of my plantation where I now live during her natural life or widowhood and also give the work of negroes Aaron the oldest, Aaron the youngest, Peter the older, and Peter the younger, during her natural life or widowhood, also a negro woman named Lucy and a bay mare named Jack.
I give unto my son Nicholas the tract land whereon he now lives and all the land I own joining with the exception of a part lying between the Beaver Dam Creek and Quaker Road which said last parcel of land I give unto my grandson William Thornton a minor, also I give to said minor a horse worth $100 to be given him at full age.
I also give to my son Joseph at the death of my wife all that parcel of land being part of the tract whereon I now live to be divided as follows: beginning at a corner on Mathes Road and a straight line to Benjamin Burton land; and all my blacksmith and carpenter tools also one horse worth $100 and a cow and calf and $100 in cash.
The balance of my land to be equally divided between my daughters Sally and Nancy after the death of my wife.
I also give to my dtr. Betsey one cow and calf, the rest of the personal property to fall to her children, but not to be at the disposal of her husband.
I appoint my son Nicholas and Joseph Stallsworth and James Adrams as executors.

Proved by the oath of John M. Moon the 9 Sep 1808 and at the same time qualified Nicholas Stallsworth as executors. Recorded 18 Nov 1808.
