    Abstract of BLWt 39950 (under the Act of 1850) and BLWt 47757 (under the Act of 1855). William Snell applied for bounty land for services performed in the War of 1812. He stated that he was drafted at Warrenton, Warren Co, MS on 20 Sep 1814 for a term of 6 months, and was discharged at Camp Mandeville, near Mobile, in March 1816. His application under the act of 1855 was executed on 10 Nov 1857.
