William June Selleck died in a car accident in 1941. He and his wife Mary, were residents of Sedalia, MO at the time. After his death, an Uncle, William Jackson Selleck of Warner Hall in Virginia, died and left a sizeable estate. William June Selleck's portion of this estate was divided between his surviving spouse, Mary, and their two children, Susan and Fred. William Jackson Selleck had also commissioned a professional genealogist to prepare a family genealogy. This record extends to the 14th Century, and includes references to George Washington and other notables in the early history of Virginia.
