WilliamB Sargent, a minister, died before 18 February 1628/9, when his son Andrew was apprenticed. It seems likely that he was the William Sargeant who became vicar at Meare, Somerset, briefly before his burial there 2 March 1600/1, and that his wife was Elizabeth -----, who married there, second, on 30 July 1607, Nicholas Huite / Huett. Nicholas Huett was evidently living in the parish of Street the following year when his daughter Mary was baptized there 23 September 1608, and this residency is consistent with Andrew Sargent's apprenticeship record stating that he was from Street.
