WILLIAM H. RICKER.
William H. Ricker, a prominent citizen of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday at his home, 401 Broadway. He was horn in Cambridge, the son of Jeredith and Ann Hovey Ricker. His father was a carpenter and builder and erected many of the oldest houses in Cambridgeport and other sections of Cambridge. Mr. Ricker followed his father's trade and was very successful. He acquired considerable real estate and has devoted himself for the past 10 years in the management of his property. He was the owner of three apartment blocks on Broadway, corner of Ellsworth avenue and another on Massachusetts avenue, near Hancock street.
He was a prominent member of the Board of Trade and an associate member of William H. Smart Post 30, G. A. R., in which he had taken a lively interest in recent years. He was also a member of Harvard Council, Royal Arcanum. He is survived by his wife and one sister, Mrs. G. W. Canterbury.
