Facts and Events
Name William Lewis McFalls
Alt Name _____ McFall
Gender Male
Birth[1][2] Abt 1852 North Carolina, United States
Marriage 25 May 1873 to Sarah Matilda Ray
Marriage Abt 1896 to Etta Lora Hensley
Death[3] 18 Sep 1942 Asheville, Buncombe, North Carolina, United States

Note that his birth year crept back from about 1852 to 1842 between the 1880 census and May 1942 when he celebrated his "100th" birthday (see newspaper clipping at Find A Grave[3]). It is unlikely that he was born in Virginia as claimed, as his father was in Yancey County, North Carolina in the 1850 census[4].
