He was widely known, and died January 5, 1882. He was a half brother of Ambrose Hundley Sevier, the well-known Arkansas senator, and diplomat, also grandson of Henry Conway, who was an officer in the Revolutionary war, and who was stung to death by bees, and buried with honors of war upon the homestead, from which he had assisted in removing the cane. ...
