In the Name of God amen, I William Lusk, being in my perfect senses but low in body do order this my lastwill and testatment and do in the presence of God, Angels and men commit my soul to God and my body to thedust, --- I do bequeath to mywife, Sarah, and my son, David, my plantation. In during her widowhood and if she marries, David is to give herfive pounds for her part of the place and then the place shall properly belong to David. --- I do will and bequeathto my son, James, my kean(?) and spurs . . . and to my son, Samuel, one English shilling . . . and to my son, Hugh, my great coat and straightcoat and jacket which I had last made . . .and one English shilling to my daughter, Mary. . . . and I do will andbequeath to my daughter, Martha, my young black mare and her own saddle . . . and to my daughter, Sarah, myblack horse and a saddle is to be given her out of the whole stock. As for the wheat that is in the ground and thewheat that is in the barn I do allow to be divided in four equal parts and what debt is on the place is to be paid outof wheat and an equal division of the wheat is to be made between my wife and son, David, and my twodaughters. As for the cows and sheep and hogs to be kept as on the place as usually and them, together with othermoveables, is to be divided equally between my wife and son and daughters as their (?) part. I allow my wife,Sarah and my brother, John Lusk, to be my executors. Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of William Lusk.

2. William2 Lusk (William1) was born 1696 in Antrim County, Ulster, Ireland, and died Abt. February 24, 1745/46 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. He married Sarah Elizabeth Guinn Abt. 1709. She was born Abt. 1690 in Scotland. Notes for William Lusk: The following Lusks are listed as warrantees of land in Chester County, PA: John Lusk, 200 acres, 18 September 1736; Robert Lusk, 50 acres, 20 February 1739; 211 acres, 7 February 1742 and William Lusk, 20 acres, 22 May 1745. (PA Archives Series III, Vol. 24, p.84-85) Believed to be brothers, His will was found in Westchester, Chester County, Pennsylvania. His children were named in the will. LUSK WILLIAM LUSK AND HIS WIFE SARAH WERE SCOTCH-IRISH AND LANDED IN PHILADELPHIA IN 1721; THAT THEY SETTLED IN CHESTER CO, PA, WHERE THE WILL OF WILLIAM LUSK IS RECORDED UNDER DATE 24 FEB 1746 IN WILL BOOK 2, PAGE 217. WILLIAM LUSK'S OCCUPATION WAS THAT OF FARMER.
