Elaine Wichman, 2nd Cousin, daughter of Bertha and Adolph Johnson, went to the vital Records of Middlesex, CT. Found that Ada Grace Goodman, Grandma Lambertson, was given the name Mary Gracia Goodman at birth. Great Grandmother Goodman given name was Ellen and she was born in Chittenden, VT. and lived in Stockbridge, VT. Great Grandfather was Henry Goodman, who was born in New York and was a blacksmith. From a note written by Aunt Gertrude: 'Funeral services were held Saturday at the Methodist Church here in Pocahontas, for William Monroe Lambertson, 84, who died at his home on March 31, as the result of a stroke suffered on March 29.' The Re. J.R.Kirby officiating at the services. Burial was in the family lot on the Washington Cemetary at Hevelock, Iowa. Rev. Albertson of the Methodist Church of Havelock, Iowa officiating at grave side. Two grandsons, Francis Johnson of Emmetsburg, Iowa and Norman Johnson of Ames, Iowa, served as honorary pallbearers, six other grandsons were active pallbearers, they were Glen Johnson of Sheldon, Iowa, Berbard Johnson of Davenport, Iowa, Howard Lambertson of Menomonie, Wisc., Arvin Carlson of Hector, Minn., Clarence Johnson of Hanson, Iowa and Earl Joachims of Pocahontas, Iowa.
