    KEYES, Dr. William C., age 89, of 2230 Henry St., passed away in a local hospital, Wednesday, Sept. 21, (1960). A resident of Bellingham for the past 60 years, Dr. Keyes was a physician and surgeon, having established the Keyes Clinic in 1934; he was the major stockholder of the P.S.P.&T.; was a member of the A.M.A; Washington State Medical Assn.; Whatcom County Medical Society; was a former member of the B.P.O. Elks; was a former member of the Cougar Club. Survivors are his widow, Emma, at home; three sons, Drs. Howard C., Donald C. and Roswell P., all of Bellingham and formerly associated with their father in business; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. The remains rest at the Jones Funeral Home where services will be conducted by Dr. W. Carl Calhoun, Friday, Sept. 23, at 2 p. m. Final resting place Bay View Cemetery. Active casket bearers will be Craig, William C. and William E. Keyes, Robert Kohl, Dr. Louis King and Major Edward Keyes. Honorary casket bearers will be A. W. Shiels, Henry Jukes, Judge John A. Kellogg, Dr. Frederick Wheaton, George Ambrose, Harry Abbott, Lawson Turcott, Erik Ekholm, Arthur Quick and Charles Blick.
