William and Amanda are both buried at Bethpage Cemetery, Bethpage TN. William Key is listed in 1836 Seminole War muster. In 1840 he had a horse-powered mill for corn and grain in Bethpage (according to book by Walter Durham). 1850 census lists him as a farmer with property value of $900. William and Amanda had 7 children:
