Notes

William Jones is mentioned in a query letter in the Revolutionary War Pension file of his brother Churchill Jones. It is stated that:
only brother William_Jones (1750-1845) of "Ellwood", Spotsylvania County, Virginia, married at age 78 Lucy Gordon abt. age 16 who had daughter Betsy Churchill who married Major J. Horace Lacy of Chatham. (Note: the marriage to Lucy Gordon was a 2nd marriage for William).
