    This is the last Will and Testament of me William Jelbart of Boskenna in the Parish of Saint Buryan in the County of Cornwall Farmer. I Give and bequeath to my Daughter Ann Wife of Leonard Paul Cocking late of Redruth, but now of America the sum of Five Pounds of Lawful English Money to be paid her by my Executor hereinafter named if she shall live to return to England. I Give and bequeath unto my Son Thomas the Sum of One hundred and Fifty Pounds of like Lawful Money to be paid him by my Executor in the following manner that is to say he shall be paid One hundred Pounds within twelve months next after my decease and Fifty Pounds within six months next after the death of his Mother. I Give and bequeath to my Daughter Eliza the Sum of One Hundred and Fifty Pounds of like Lawful Money to be paid her on her Wedding day or within twelve months next after my death; But if she prefer it, she shall receive Five per Cent Interest for the said One hundred and Fifty Pounds from the time of my death; And I hereby direct that her brother William (my Executor) shall and do provide her with suitable Board and Lodgings until the said Legacy of One hundred and Fifty pounds be paid her, or until she is married. And I also Give and bequeath unto my said Daughter Eliza the Bed she now usually sleeps on together with the Bedding thereunto belonging or which shall belong thereto at the time of my death. I Give and bequeath unto my Wife Elizabeth Jelbart One Annuity or clear yearly sum of Eight Pounds of like lawful money to be paid her by my Executor (in quarterly payments) who shall also provide her with suitable Board and Lodgings so long as she shall continue to live in the same dwelling House with my son William my said Executor. But if at any time she shall remove from the said dwelling house to reside in any other but in that in which my said Executor my son William reside Then the said Annuity of Eight Pounds per Annum together with her Board and Lodgings shall cease and be void. Thackerley) And Then I Give and bequeath unto my Wife Elizabeth Jelbart one annuity of Eighteen Pounds of like Lawful Money to be paid her by my said Executor in Quarterly Payments on the four most usual Feasts or days of payment of Rent in the year. The first of the said payments to commence and be made on such of the usual quarterly days of payment as shall first and next happen after my death. And I charge my Leasehold Dwelling House and Premises in the Church Town of the said Parish of Saint Buryan which I sometime since purchased of my Sister Ann Jennings And also all other my residuary property hereinafter given my said Executoe with and to the payment of the said Annuity of Eighteen Pounds. And I Will that the usual power of Distress and Entry as regards the said last mentioned Leasehold Premises with the Costs and charges from time to time attending thereon for enforcing payment of the said Annuity of Eighteen Pounds and the quarterly payments thereof or any part thereof be considered as contained in this my Will. I Also Give and bequeath unto my said Wife the Bed we now usually sleep on or that which I shall be accustomed to sleep on at the time of my death together with the bedding thereto belonging at that time. I Also Give and Bequeath unto my said wife Convenient and sufficient Household goods and Furniture that shall or may fit for the use of one person. All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Lands Tenements Goods Chattles, Rights Credits and Effects of what nature or kind soever I shall die possessed of or entitled unto (and inclusive of the said several Leasehold Messuages and Premises) I hereby Give and bequeath unto my Son William Jelbart To Hold to Him his Executors Administrators and Assigns subject only as aforesaid and to the said Legacies and Annuities and the payment of my Just Debts Funeral expences and the Charges of proving this my Will, and I hereby nominate and appoint him my said son William (end of second sheet, witnessed by ? Willm Thackerley) Whole and Sole Executor and Residuary Legatee of this my said Will Subject only as aforesaid. And I hereby revoke all former and other Will or Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this and no other my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have to the first two sheets thereof set my hand and to this the third or last sheet my hand and Seal this twenty fifth day of August in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty five.

    Deanery of Saint Buryan 23 March 1837

    The last Will and Testament of William Jelbart late of the Parish of Saint Buryan Farmer deceased proved in Common form Before the Reverend Richard T??? Clerk Surrogate. And administration to the Goods of the said Deceased and of all things whatsoever concerning his said Will was granted to William Jelbart his Son and sole Executor.
