There is also a record for William [died] Feb. 3, 1801, marked as coming from "town copy with additions", a copy made by a committee in 1853 to which they added records from various sources, this record not being found in the original records. In some cases these additions are erroneous, so neither source is a contemporary record. There is no probate file for William Hyde to give any clues. The 1802 date is used based on the age at death matching and its use in the NEHGR article.]
