"3. William² House (William¹), born about 1684, died at Glastonbury, Conn., in 1742; … His son appears in deeds as William House, Jr., as late as January, 1741/2, and releases were given by his heirs from 1742 to 1744, the earliest dated 29 Sept. 1742. He therefore died during that year."
