Son of William Thompson Hooper & Elizabeth Perkins. William H. Hooper was involved in the coal and wood business in Castine and later founded an agency to sell Ford & Dodge automobiles. The Ford dealership lasted until 1982. He also had a livery stable at Castine. Living on Pleasant Street in Castine at 1920 and 1930 census.
