This is pure speculation and is unsubstantiated. This theory is put forth by Linda Dumas. This book says "Among the effects of William Hasty which were sond after his death, was one item which we thought a little unusual. It was a trumpet, not an ear trumpet, just a trumpet. Also sond, were books, Bible and Testament, so we may assume that William had som education.
