William^A Harris (John^B) was born say 1543 (assuming age 25 at first marriage). … The will of 'William Harris of Hatheropp in the County of Glouc[ester] Husbandman' dated 1 October 1598 and proved 8 November 1599 gave to: his sons William (eldest), Anthony and John, £5 each; his son-in-law John Iles, £12; Joan Iles, daughter of his son-in-law, a cow at her age of seven years; residue of his property to his wife Annis, named executrix, but if she marries then half of his goods to his four youngest sons, Thomas, Edmund, William and Robert."
