Conway was nobly patriotic in furnishing men and meansfor the struggle, and at one time, in 1777, every able-bodied man within the town's limits was under arms. _________________________________________________________________________________ Three of his children married Glover's, Tamesin m David Glover, Ruhama m Philander Glover and Joseph m Joanna Northam d of Joanna Glover. David and Philander were 2nd cousins once removed. David and Joanna Northam were also 2nd cousins once removed.
