OBITUARY (Fayetteville Citizen; Publication Date: 20 Jan 2009, Fayetteville, GA):
Died Thursday morning, January 10, 2008. William was born September 20, 1920 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a son of William A. and Grace C. (Lant) Green. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1999 and was a member of the Westwood Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents; fourth wife, Katherine; and three brothers, Leo, Leon and Jack Green. He is survived by his first wife, Lillian; second wife, Joyce; third wife, Patricia; six children, Michael Green, Linda Johnson, David Blume, Darl Blume, Darlene Blume. and Patty; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock Saturday, January 19th at the Westwood Church of God, 811 Gorham Lane. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Private burial will take place in College Park, Georgia at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Westwood Church of God. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street (Kalamazoo,MI).
