William Fisher, b. say 1490. He inherited Chickering Hall in Wingfield by the 1522/23 will of his father, which directed that the property should eventually go to his eldest son John (who was under age and therefore born 1503 or later) or, if John died without sons, to "his next brother Robert." William is the only Fisher listed in the 1524 Subsidy of Wingfield.
