- Searches were made in Runnels Co., TX for the graves of William S. and Naoma Bedford Edwards. To our dismay we learned that the graveyard in Norton, TX was flooded in the early 1960's and many graves were washed away. There are no markers for W. S. or Naoma in the cemetery, and no plot map, therefore it is impossible to determine if they were ever even buried there. We can only assume they were because the bodies were removed to Norton, according to the death certificates. The town of Norton is almost completely abandoned.[Edwards gedcom.GED]
