b.Abt 1765
Facts and Events
Name William Edwards
Gender Male
Birth[1] Abt 1765
Death[1] 19 Dec 1840 North Mundham, Sussex, EnglandRuncton
Burial[2] 23 Dec 1840 Pagham, Sussex, England

The only other Edwards family living in this area around this time appears to have been that of James Edwards who was probably a contemporary of this William, but disappears after 1807, whereas no sign of this William has been found apart from his death at Runcton (where James's son Henry lived at the time) and his burial at neighbouring Pagham (where James's wife Susannah had been buried in 1832). One possibility is that the informant for this death, Charles Lane, (who does not appear to have been related) gave the wrong name and this 'William' is in fact the missing James.
