    W.A . EAKIN Dead
A telephone call to this office just as we go to press announced that W.A . EAKIN died at his home at Petersburg at 12:00 yesterday. Mr. Eakin has suffered for several weeks with Bright’s disease and his death was not unexpected to his friends, as his health had been failing fast for the past month. The funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3:30. Mr. Eakin is one of the pioneer citizens of this section and is well known throughout this part of the state. He had friends innumerable and was loved by all who knew him. His death will be mourned not only by those of his immediate family, but by hundreds who have grown to love him
